How to use buckles with strapping

Buckles are a easy and cost effective way to use strapping.  Buckles make it possible to use only a tensioner and no sealer to secure your product with strapping.

How to use a buckle:

1.Bring the strap around your package/skid and put the buckle with the legs up (as seen in graphic on top of page.

2. Fold the strapping so the loose end is on top.

3. Bring strapping up through middle of buckle and lace through one end of buckle.

4.Repeat on other side.

5. Press bottom strapping to package/skid, and pull top strap (do not hold buckle) to pull out slack.

6. Put on tensioning tool, squeeze tool handle to lift foot, and slide onto strap.

7. Top strap goes through windlass slot on tool.

8. Crank handle on tensioner.

8. Squeeze handle to lift foot, and cut strap.  Slide tool right and your done!
